Bio

Big Ol' Pig blends intricate songwriting with exploratory long-form improvisation into a  Colorado jam band experience that's meatier and greasier than thick cut bacon. With original music that ranges from chicken pickin' hootenannies to introspective ballads to all out funkified dance numbers, there's something here for every listener, and no sound out of bounds for Big Ol' Pig to explore.

Since their recent formation in 2025, Big Ol' Pig has gigged throughout the front range, weaving in the timeless music of artists such as Grateful Dead, Supertramp and Bob Dylan with their originals to create a live show that is at once accessible and entirely unique. Notable past performances include their debut at Roots Music Project with over 100 tickets sold, performing at Tulagi Music Festival, and opening for Dave Watts of the Motet.

Big Ol' Pig's debut single, "Same," is available to stream on all platforms, and live performances of their original songs have quickly amassed thousands of views on YouTube.
